Sunday School Teachers Fellowship Meeting:
Teachers Fellowship meeting of the Canadian Mar Thoma Church Sunday School will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2019 soon after the Holy Communion Service at the Canadian Mar Thoma Church, 159 Sandiford Drive, Whitchurch-Stouffville, ON L4A 0Y2 to transact the following agenda.
1. Election of one representative from Sunday School to the Phase 2 building committee.
2. A.O. B with the permission of the Chair.

Annual Church Picnic:
Pre-registration counters are open outside in the foyer to better plan and prepare for the upcoming picnic. Coordinating team and your Prayer Group Area Representatives are at the desk to assist you to pre-register for the picnic. Please pick your tickets today. Registration costs is $30 for a family unit, $15 for senior couples and individual tickets for $10. Your participation is greatly encouraged and appreciated.
Youth Fellowship Announcement:
The CMTC Youth group is inviting you all to Taste of India, a fundraising event for the upcoming Regional Youth Conference in 2020. The event will take place on Sunday, August 25th, immediately after the Holy Communion service. There will be food stations featuring authentic foods from Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Goa, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala. We are looking for volunteers to help bring flavors to these states we are featuring by using their culinary skills. For those who are interested, please contact Riya Thomas or Maneesha Thomas. More details about the event will be announced in the coming weeks.
This is going to be an elaborate festival and celebration, the first ever in the history of the Canadian Mar Thoma Church. Games, activities, auctions, garage sale, raffle draw and lots more are being planned for the whole family. Cultural programsand performances are being planned by the Sunday School, Youth Fellowship, Seniors Fellowship, SevikaSangham, YuvajanaSangham, Edavaka Mission and the Choir. If you would like to showcase your talents, please contact Robin Thomas, Kuber George, Haris George and ManojKompithrato register your act. This event is open to all and open to the public. So, you are encouraged to invite your friends and families to this mega celebration. There will be authentic food stalls, tents and lot of chairs outside to enjoy a beautiful afternoon and time of fellowship with family and friends. Free tickets will be available on registration starting August 11. We are also organizing a “Free BBQ for all” @ 3 pm. Please do not forget to bring a set of clothes to change into and enjoythe afternoon to the fullest. Each family is encouraged to bring one item towards the Harvest Festival. This can be baked, bought or grown in your backyard or your neighbours backyard – a way to express our gratefulness to the Lord. A flyer giving you more details will be available next week. So, please come and enjoy and make it a blessed event.
Edavaka Mission Announcement:
There will be NO Edavaka Mission Bible Study this Friday, August 2 as the Conference is taking place at the St. Mathews Mar Thoma Church Milton.

Senior Fellowship Announcements:
Senior Fellowship picnic is taking place on Tuesday, August 13 at the Miliken Park, Scarborough. It is Tuesday and not Saturday because I have been wrongly announcing the day of the picnic. So, it is Tuesday, August 13 – mark the day. This is open to all members. Please note, entrance to the park and parking is FREE. It is with deep sadness that we inform you the passing away of Mr. K. P. Pothen (87 years old), brother of our member, Mr. V. K. Pothen, in India on Monday, July 22, 2019. The funeral service was held on Thursday, July 25, 2019 in Indore, India. Please continue to uphold the bereaved family in our prayers.

Malayalam Classes:Malayalam Classes will resume starting August 11 in the basement. All those registered and willing to register, may make your way to the basement on Sunday, August 11. More details to follow from the Coordinator, Dr. Bapu Cherian.
