Mar Thoma worship in Canada commenced in 1972. As already announced, This year, we are prayerfully preparing to celebrate our Parish Day along with the 51st anniversary of this momentous beginning.
The event is scheduled for Sunday, 17th September 2023, at The Trinity College Chapel, and will commence at 10:30 AM. We have planned a day filled with prayer, community engagement, and reflection on our journey thus far.
We extend a warm invitation to all our Parishioners and guests to attend this special Holy Communion service.
We also extend a special invitation to all the senior members who pioneered our historic beginnings in 1972.
We once again earnestly urge everyone to be a part of this significant Holy Communion service.
As car parking facilities are sparse in and around Downtown Toronto ,travel arrangements can be made for a nominal fee for everyone who needs it to the Trinity College Chapel if you can send the names and number of passengers to the Parish Secretary by email secretary@marthoma.ca or by Text/WhatsApp on or before Sunday 10th September. You can also give your names to me in-person, today after the service.
Complimentary bus transportation will be provided from our church premises for senior members who were part of the Mar Thoma community in 1972.
Parish Convention
Our Parish convention is scheduled from Thursday, September 21st to Saturday, September 23rd at our church, starting at 7:30 pm each day.
Parish Day
On Sunday, September 24th, our Parish Day Celebrations will be held at our church. Special guests will be invited during our Parish Day celebrations. During the parish Day Celebrations, we will also be honoring the seniors’ who were members of the Mar Thoma Community back since 1972.

5. Sunday school announcements
Dear All,
1. Sunday School for the academic year 2023-24 will begin next Sunday, 10th September at 9 am. All students and teachers are requested to be in the sanctuary on time. The registration for Sunday school academic year 2023-24 is open and the google form for registration is shared through the church WhatsApp group and email. Registration fee is $20 and can be handed over to the class teacher. Please register at the earliest .

2. Sunday School Teachers Retreat and Orientation will be held on 9th Sep (Saturday ) from 8:30 am to 1 pm at our church.
Teachers are requested to register through the google forms shared with you .
3. The Sunday school annual Talent show for the Academic year 2023-2024 is planned to be held on Saturday, 30-September. The Bible memory verse competition will be oral for grades Nursery to grade 4. From grade 5 till grade 12 it will be written.The memory verse must be from Psalms - Only full chapters and no random verses. The students can select the chapters of their choice. Verses should be from the NRSV Bible. The winners will be decided based on the total number of memory verses . More details about the Talent show competition will be announced in the upcoming days.

6. Seniors Fellowship Onam will be celebrated on Sept.14th Thursday 10:30 am at our church. If you are attending this event, please register your names with Mariamma Edichandy, Seniors Fellowship Secretary at 416 454 6077 in order to make necessary arrangements for lunch.

1. An Area - 5 Prayer Meeting will be held at the residence of Mr. Johnson Zachariah (Saji & Sherly) TODAY @ 6:00 PM.
